Los Angeles Cruise List

About this site

Compiled and maintained by Andrew Budai, webmaster. Schedule last updated .

LosAngelesCruiseList is an independent schedule of cruises leaving Los Angeles and Long Beach. It lists 696 sailings on 36 ships from 13 cruise lines, from November 2026 to October 2028.

We don't sell cruises. There is no booking engine, account or newsletter here. When you find a sailing you like, we send you to Cruisebound, which sells that exact sailing, or to the cruise line, to check the price and book.

Who runs this site

Andrew Budai compiles and maintains LosAngelesCruiseList. He is an experienced webmaster with more than 10 years in SEO and digital advertising, and he has been building his own websites for the past year. He wants this site to be genuinely helpful and also profitable. He is not a travel agent, and the schedule comes from the sources listed below, not from personal experience.

How the schedule is put together

Cruises from Los Angeles leave from two separate ports, so each sailing is built from three sources, each used for what it does best:

  1. Cruisebound, a cruise retailer, publishes every sailing it sells from Los Angeles, with today's fare. Each sailing's own page gives the day-by-day itinerary, and that is where our ports of call come from. The first day of that itinerary is also how we tell a San Pedro sailing from a Long Beach one, because Cruisebound files both under Los Angeles.
  2. Ports America, which operates the World Cruise Center in San Pedro, publishes the official schedule there. We check every San Pedro sailing against it, and it is the only place our berth numbers come from. We are not connected to Ports America, and the schedule itself is theirs.
  3. CruiseTimetables is the independent check for Long Beach, which has no public schedule we could find, and for San Pedro sailings past the official schedule's last day. It doesn't say which terminal, so later San Pedro sailings show no berth yet.
  4. If we can't confirm the ports of call, the sailing is left out. We would rather show fewer cruises than show one with gaps. If two sources disagree, the sailing stays on the site and is marked, so you can check it with the line.

We never work out a berth from the cruise line. In the official data several ships use more than one berth, sometimes within a month, and the same ship can leave from the Outer Harbor one week and the World Cruise Center the next.

Ships that only call in Los Angeles partway through a voyage are not departures, and lines Cruisebound doesn't sell from here have no confirmed ports for us to publish.

How sure we are

As of 2026-11-02:

StatusSailingsWhat it means
Confirmed692 The ship is on the official Ports America schedule for that day. For Long Beach, and past the schedule's last day, it is on CruiseTimetables.
Single source2 Cruisebound sells it, but neither check lists it. Check these with the line.
Sources disagree2 The official schedule doesn't show this ship in San Pedro on that day. Marked in the tables, and worth checking with the line.

We record which ports a sailing visits. The order and the times in port can change, so check the line's day-by-day itinerary if that matters to you.

About the fares

A fare here is a starting price per person, for the cheapest cabin listed, with taxes and port fees included. 651 of the 696 sailings have one. Each fare shows the date we checked it.

Cruisebound publishes a daily catalog and a page for each sailing, and neither is always right on its own, so we compare them. We use the sailing's page when it shows the cheapest cabin. Otherwise the page is usually missing cabins, so we use the catalog. In a sailing's last three weeks cabins really do sell out, so if the two disagree there we show no fare and ask you to check the price. The price you see at Cruisebound can still be different, especially close to sailing.

These are not live quotes. Cruise prices move every day, so treat a fare as a way to compare one sailing with another, then get the real price from the line. Where we have no fare, the table says "check prices" instead of guessing.

Keeping it current

Fares are re-checked on a schedule and the site is rebuilt afterwards. Sailings drop off automatically once they have left. The date of the last update is at the top of every listing and in the footer.

Download the schedule

The whole schedule is available as a file, one row per sailing, rebuilt every morning with the site: CSV for a spreadsheet, or JSON. Each row gives the departure and return dates, nights, the terminal, the berth where Ports America's schedule shows one, ship, line, itinerary, region, ports of call, the starting fare and the date it was read, and the page that covers it. You are welcome to use and quote it, with a link back to this site. You can also put a live list of sailings on your own site with our schedule widget.

Sources

The planning guides list their own sources, mostly the Port of Los Angeles, the Port of Long Beach and the operators each guide covers.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with the Port of Los Angeles, the Port of Long Beach, Ports America, any cruise line or any travel agency. Links to cruise lines may become affiliate links. The affiliate disclosure explains what that means. It does not change which sailings we list or the order they appear in.

When something is wrong

Cruise lines change schedules often, and a list like this can fall behind between updates. The cruise line is always the final word on dates, ports and prices.
